I used OCZ Platinum for a long time and loved it, and while I don't blame you, and you are right OCZ could have just gone down and left everyone in the cold, but its just business, they had to take some of the burden to make the sale, and I am sure that no one other than customers, and lower employees took a hit on all of it.
I would take some DDR2 to make me feel better
Just like 8 or 16GB nothing major, and 1200Mhz stuff of course.
