The upcoming RV635 may have a different UVD. We manage to receive some info about it.

Now we still don't know, is UVD have a new name Xilleon or they setup a new dedicated chip on board? Will the brand new Dual-stream decode can bring us a big step forward in HD playback?

    Ummm...

"Xilleon" is a H.264/VC-1 video decoding chip originally made by ATi. The UVD on RV630/RV610 is a rebranded/modified/integrated version of the Xilleon design.

    This is no news. :\

Oh well, I guess it could be they've updated the UVD -engine in RV635 to a newer version.

The pic in OP implies the revised UVD in RV635 is dual-theaded (for PiP eg.). Nothing interesting.
