Hey guys, just wondering when the turion X2 will be released? It's July and still I have yet to see a notebook containing this new cpu for notebooks for sale anywhere, let alone a decent review. I am going to university in September and so I will be needing a notebook, I'm looking at the Turion X2 because I thought that it was going to be released in the summer but are they pushing back its' release date?
Also, should I wait for Turion X2 or just go get a Core Duo? I want my notebook to be future-proof so basically I am looking at a 64 bit cpu that can run Vista, the Turion X2 is 64 bit but I also hear that even though the Core Duo is 32 bit, it can be upgraded to a 64 bit cpu in the future.
