There should be one. Because few thing are so annoying as when you're browsing a topic and someone posts a 1920x1080 image of an outdated meme or something, or any image at all for that matter because people don't seem to grasp the idea of resizing and different screen resolutions.
Anyway, an option for not display images at all would be nice.
And another thing, those tiny spec images in product releases. It would be nice if it was possible to see them without having to open the browser.
