I want to compare the results of this forum to another I post on which was 71% pro-Obama. It's a music forum and I want to see the difference in conservatism/liberal between music nerds and computer nerds.

    So cast your vote!

Results are left anonymous and I'd prefer if this didn't turn into a flamefest/battle betweens Dems and Repubs.

And if I posted, it wouldn't be so anonymous. lol

EDIT. never mind. Guess I came here too soon.
EDIT2. i'll wait to vote till there are a few, so people don't know what I voted for, since I was the first to jump in here.

What the heck, the commies are currently winning the poll.

Ho ho ho! I keed! I keed! :)

Having choices like Ron Paul and Bob Barr up there might make the results more interesting since all of those kinds of voters are forced to be tossed in with the "not voting" voters.

Well there's no real chance that those minor candidates would win, unfortunately.

I vote for the the better of USA. A stable USA is vital for the world to be as peaceful as it is. It's like planet Jupiter that takes in/deflects asteroids for a safer inner solar system. However, with regard to the current elections, to me as an outsider it looks a big drama. People are more interested in the candidates' personal lives than their capabilities to run the country. An election is like a job interview. You are the employer. Be wise, as your selections determine the course of your future and your generations to come.

That looks different than the stated intent of the poll in the first post. Plenty of conservatives won't vote for McCain because they don't think he's a conservative. So all those real conservative voters get lumped into "other." I s'pose the results could be read as Republican/Democrat, though.

Voting is pointless. The president is already chosen. You vote is no different than the one here, just a public opinion. I won't vote, but I can tell you can I think that McCain is going to get it.

I voted for obama, and I will be voting for him in November as well when it matters. I can't stand McBush and his lies.

What can't you stand about him regarding his policies? And please give an intelligent answer, no little-kid-MTV-High-school-playground rhetoric.

Ok, you call him McBush - which of his policies that he and bush agree on do you disagree with?

And his lies - what did he lie about?

Well I am not anti-McCain but I do think it's funny how he can't look Barack in the eye.

a list of his lies (with references) http://www.mccainpedia.org/index.php/Count_the_Lies

I prefer Barack because I stand to gain much more as a member of the middle class. His economic plan calls for tax cuts for anyone making under 250k a year. Also, he has a good record of voting for and supporting green energy (wind, solar, etc), and I like his anti-lobbyist stance as well.

    -there, better answer?
