Well I don't really see why not.....as long as you're careful it should be fine.
as long as you have a alarm, and put it in a bubble.. could be able to save that system...
Like the frame it has but it be even better if you could buy panels for it as well for were the fans can go.
Why can't designers realize that dual handles running across the tops of cases are all but useless? The best kind are the ones that run lengthwise, like on the NZXT Vulcan or this Apex case. Just make sure that they're really well attached to the chassis and it's good. The only way a horizontal handle can work is if it's in the center of the case, like on the CM Storm Scout.
I also like the HDD mounting system. The bungee cords would help the drives from getting knocked hard while moving the computer. Plus, no sound from vibration.
That's like going to the prom in undergarments. LAN Parties are about showing off casemods, or at least going with a case. OC events are the ones in which people go with a TS.
sneekypeet actually has one of these for sale if anyone is realllly interested in getting one
[FS][US] Peety's Perpetual Parts Place
its so ugly and awkward looking i actually think i would enjoy having one
Time to replace my Antec Skeleton......
This is very very cool....
I like the harddrive suspension system and space for a loooong GPU card.....
Well I'd take a TS to a LAN
Or my Lian Li. Can't beat 100% brushed aluminum for style
I wonder how good it will look covered in dog and cat hair....
$220 for some mesh!!!!! Might as well have an open bench lol. However I suppose one could build a passive system with this case.
Sweet, its been forever since I got to play with Legos!
Not really my style.
It also seems a bit hokey for such an expensive case ($200),
with those screw holes are exposed, etc,.
but it looks like there's plenty of mounting options for fans,
I wonder how deep those side panels are around the HDD bays...
Hopefully they allowed for enough room for mounting radiators..
I always thought LAN parties are about showing off your gaming skills..
But meh, to each his own.
I need a case, not a gimicky penis extension. How many bays are you going to use?
Those are tournaments, in which most of the time the organizers give you a machine to play with (you can use your own keyboard/mouse/mousepad/headset, if you're used to them). LAN parties are casual events, more of get togethers, socializing, showoff, some serious gaming. Again, not to be confused with BYOC tournaments.
Good HD video review from 3DGAMEMAN
Wow, I really like this case. Very interesting design, and seems like it would make installation/removal of hardware so much easier.
well done Antec..(looks cool/interesting) I cant believe the companies are getting closer to my case design, I may have to hurry the hell up...
(Very nice job making the PS mountable above as well as below)
Yes, hurry the hell up and do it! NOW!!!
I stop listening to him once I realized that he just spouts off information and doesn't actually know much. In a review of my case (which its size was mislabeled on TigerDirect as a Mid-Tower) he just went with that. Mid-tower cause that is what TD told me.....ignore the fact Full Tower is listed as it side on the manufacturer site. lol, the first thing listed about my case in its TPU review was, "Even though this case is called a mid tower, it is quite large..."
It's like Antec made a case for a cage match with your gpu vs your cpu.
Which one will come out alive!?
I called him out for it once and was jumped by an angry flock of his fanboys.
TBH, I don't think he even uses the case before giving his opinion, he just points with a pencil and reads off the manual.
I saw it on this months issue of Maximum PC and fell in love with it. For the price though Id rather have a Corsair 800D or the 700d
this is ugly. and weird. and i was always against something with mesh from top to bottom, it hampers proper airflow, by mixing up the currents. its too hard to get rid of heat in these cases. the fans just circulate the air in the case instead of bringing in fresh air from outside and releasing exhaust.
The whole idea is cool and different add some filters on that bad boy before it becomes one big dust box!
This most be the best damn design I've seen since Antec 900, well except the damn hole in the bottom of the box. Although, considering the airflow direction that won't do much bad
there, but as for flexibility that it horrid design flaw as far I see.
