Anti Virus vs Internet Security

    Hey guys!

    Quick newb question.... What's the difference between Anti Virus vs Internet Security?? Will both of them protect my computer against Aids (virus) ;)?

    Anti-virus is normally just for scanning/removal of viruses etc.

    Internet security normally has other features such as a firewall, proxy settings, cookie control. It differs from developer to developer but they usually all do similar things.

    it varies between different companies. their websites will tell you the differences more clearly.

    It depends. Some are antivirus + firewall only, others will pack loads of other useless crap along it.
    Some will pack AV + FW + extra stuff that's only security related (like sandbox and additional settings).
