We had a Guitar Clubhouse that has died down a bit. In fact all the Clubhouses have pretty much died down. :(

That's cool. I played bass when I was younger than switched to electric. I'm taking lessons right now as I'm just starting to get back into playing.

    Sigh...

You don't need a halfstack. It's a shitload of work that you don't need and have no actual use for. You simply don't need it. A 2 or one speaker amp will suffice for any place under 1000 people, and for over 1000 people crowds, you'd mike it anyway.

What genres do you play, and what's your budget?

Nice. I probably should go electric, but I like the sound of an acoustical. My uncle has a Martin Jumbo Box that is NICE. I am using a cheap learning guitar called a Gremlin. NO sound at all to it. I am picking it up fast, no professional lessons, just youtube, internet tabs and by ear for me.

LOL chill man I was just saying..it does not mean I'm going to go out and buy a halfstack. I'm looking a Orange Amps just a smaller nice sounding one. I play grunge/ metal /classic rock.

I taught myself to play about 15 years ago. I currently have a broken Warlok that my angry wife got ahold. I had a nice Randall SG 100W amp, it had dual 12" Clestions and was more than what I needed.

I still check Musciansfriend.com for sales, you never know when the itch to buy might kick in.

Last guitar I looked at was a Dean line up:

I did vocals for a cover band once but it never took off. We did old In Flames and other various 90's melodeath. Cover bands sure are fun tho :D My dream job would be a touring musician but I don't think that's gonna happen.

Floyd, only if i put some cash into my Strat. If i did Comfortably Numb id have to nail it dead on. Tone and feeling alike.

Floyd is hard to play unless you practice just their songs alot! I can play Have a Cigar, Really thats the only song I have ever tried playing of theirs.
