lol, in aus? probably be cheapest to have someone from the US buy it then ship it to you. That goes for everyone in europe, all your computer equipment is seriously expensive, and just letting you know i feel for you all :p.
it would be great if newegg shipped oconus, you all should sign a petition.

I know amazon ships certain items overseas but they more expensive than newegg most of the time. I would also take a look at ebay, both US and Australian, see if you find a good price and a seller willing to ship to you.

A petition to lose all forms of buyers protection that Dutch law forces upon stores here? Pay retarded amounts of money for shipping? (stores easily charge $60+, though you can send a package for less than $5) Long shipping times? No thanks, keep your egg.
Unless of course they ship from .eu and are bound by Dutch law.

forgive my ignorance, i guess you all are just shit out of luck. Maybe that insane buyers protection is making the stores there charge you what they are? Once again forgive my ignorance, the average american is less than knowledgeable oconus.

Why would I be out of luck? I agree there are some great deals in the states which I regret I can't always make use of. Just stating that we do not pay extra for nothing usually. And yes the insane protection does raise prices, though it's not that high. Plus, having a store close by helps with warranty, handling that over the ocean sucks.

Unfortunately, that board appears to be sold out at all U.S. dealers (or if some obscure shop does have it, they've jacked up the price to way beyond MSRP). It's the only X58 board that vanished so soon after its release. Hopefully it'll be more plentiful next month....

BLT shows it's due back in stock on December 5, and since their availability checker ties into the huge U.S. distributor Ingram Micro's database, that's probably a pretty close approximation of when anyone else in the U.S. is likely to have it again too. Although it looks as if stock will be quite limited, so I'm sure it'll sell out again in no time.

EVGA is also rumored to be releasing a second hard-core overclocking X58 board later in December, so you might want to keep a tight hold on your wallet until someone verifies or scuttles that rumor.

P.S. - the seller on eBay that you may have dealt with--"Etronic Shop in Hillside NJ"--which had a huge listing of EVGA boards, and hundreds of others too, I believe got banned. All those listings were apparently a scam....

just to let u know outlet_ncix is a respectable ebay merchant, i bought from them before on ebay, they are actually a big online retailer called NCIX, they have a Canadian and US stores, i bought from their store as well, always had good experience, they sometimes carry items difficult to find in the US, i remember buying some Mushkin RAM from them that no one in the US had anymore, but they charge a bit too much for shipping since the stuff comes from Canada. Keep watching their inventory, they should have those boards coming back in stock soon. Good luck.

wait would be my suggestion. First off, newer models coming out, older models maturing, prices may be lower in a couple of months. In case of Corei7 waiting about 6 months is not a bad idea. I think prices may fall quicker than we think since AMD may be offering something competitive for a change.
