I see that there's the vague "Sept." date on them, but maybe someone with their ear to the ground heard a more exact date. Also have prices been released?

DAMN! $390. I certainly would like one of those Platinum PSUs, but not if I have to pay with actual Platinum.

Still would like to know a closer release date window, but that link was very helpful. I guess that info isn't out, but at least I got a ballpark on the price.

Flextronics makes it. Kitguru pulled 1545W from it before it auto shutdowned. Amazing psu

Remember the tax difference. Will probably be closer to $299.

    299€ not $299.

    1€ ~ $1.4

I was hoping that 1050 Platinum would be ~ 1200 Gold, but unless that article is wrong I was WAY off.

I know, but taxes is Europe is a lot higher. If something is €99 in sweden it's often $99 in the US. Or maybe a bit more nowadays.

Oh I see. I also forgot that in Europe the tax is included in the price. In that case I think your estimate may just be right on the spot. If that's the case (prays that it is... or I can get it free by some miracle) I'd definitely pay $20 more for a 1050 Pt than a 1200Au.
