I'll definately be buying it - i hope that i can play L4D original maps though the multiplayer if i choose, i'd hate to have to swap and change between L4D and L4D2 depending on what maps i want to play on...

Not for sure if I am going to buy it. Because it looks like just a revised version of 1 with new characters, maps, and weapons. Since I really don't care to play L4D all the time I'm not for sure if I will buy, maybe if it comes out in a 4 deal pack like L4D1 then maybe.

how was it unfinished?

Because versus only had 2 of the 4 campaigns playable which i thought made it seem unfinished on release.

Not to mention the single player can be completed in around 2 hours and is quite boring, especially for a full price game (€60/$50 or $60?)

I will, I find it interesting now that you can hit zombies with a frying pan. I can afford it.

killing floor has nothing to do with zombies they are specimens, mutans, failed experiments

I may get it, but it doesn't seem like much of an upgrade from the first. They could have easily updated the first with the new stuff.

The only reason why L4D2 exists is because they were done developing everything else and the dev team just said, well hell lets get started on a L4D sequeal(even tho Gabe Newell said that he wasn't sure if that was a good idea), but the dev team said thats what they wanted to do since everything else is done.

I wish they would have decided to do a new ip instead of a slightly tweaked sequal on one of there exsisting franchises.

Also what they NEED to be doing with that extra time(instead of making a L4D2) is getting together with the Half-Life team to get Half-Life 2:Episode 3 out the door.

i reckon they're already working on Ep3. while i don't think they're a massive team with 100s of staff, i do think they know how to split their workforce to deal with TF2 updates, the L4D franchise and the HL2 universe. although with L4D2 coming out this autumn, i doubt we'll see Ep3 this year
