Are they good? Have you seen other monitors and compared them?

Westinghouse monitors are not too bad. Certainly not one of the best, but there gets to be a point where it's hard to tell the difference. My friends 20" is pretty good. Colors just seem a little "flat" compared to my viewsonic.

Well, you are only one person. & only 8% of the people on Newegg had anything bad to say about it.

Yeah, I just want a great game/movie watching experience.

I'll can tell you this. It doesn't matter who made what, they send bad stuff out all of the time.

I do have to say we have a lot of ACER stuff at work. And we love their stuff that they have made in the last year.

I bought my monitor at the store on a closeout sale, but if I ordered one it might be this one.

What about the 2493HM? 10,000:1 contrast ratio!

How important is the contrast ratio?

So, very important. It doesn't have the best brightness I've seen, but...that is alright probably, right?

Probably, I'm not an expert at monitors.
