i tried it, it's ok but firefox has so much more to offer, ff reminds me of a pc build, so much tweaking involved and you can make it yours.

Chrome needs more extensions and a bookmark toolbar in order for me to make the switch.

I liked it, but didn't miss it when I uninstalled it. Not a bad shot for Google's first browser, I prefer Opera myself, looking forward to Opera 10's release. But I am keeping an eye on this.

I'm using it right now! I like it...it's actually faster to me than Firefox is.

Opera has the equivalent of 150 Firefox extensions built-in, plus other things, so use that instead of FF.

Then download the Chrome skin for Opera, and use that instead of Chrome.

    Hurray!

The caching speed, tabs on the extreme top + stolen bookmarks bar + typing whatever you want into the address bar to search google + a few buttons = my favorite browser out of safari, firefox, opera and IE. The fading in and out is a nice addition, especially considering they have it coded well.

I use it and like it.
The google search function is great, highlight something and then Right click and search google. paste and go + paste and search is good. i also like the New-Tab page where it comes up with the most visited and most recent pages.

However, i skipped firefox and went straight to chrome from IE (IE sux big time) I do use firefox on the work computer, but i don't really like it, a little too slow and the open in a new tab/window option is backwards

    Yeah that. :banghead:

I went looking around for it and I found it. Now if I could just get some of Firefox's addon's id switch. :)

Chrome is faster than FF in loading web pages. I do agree with that. Typed this in Chrome.

Ive only used the beta, and i found it to be great. Ofcourse it was missing a whole heap of stuff and it had several bugs, but im confident that they have addressed those due to how obvious they were, for example . . . the inability to save ' Bookmarks'.

Ill be giving it a go when i get home from work tonight.
I use Opera at home, and Ie7 at work. I use Firefox from time to time to check if it can compare to Opera, it just never has, yet. At work im restricted to Ie7, and although i would swap it for Opera in a heartbeat ive come to respect it. Only because ive done some reading and now know that one must alter many things prior to Ie7 being considered secure, fast, stable and efficient. I love making use of the HOSTS file. My 15 years+ on the internet has helped me build a very large HOSTS file and i dont leave home without it.

Firefox pages load so fast on my pc it's hard to notice a difference with chrome, what I can notice should melt away once they implement the new rendering engine. So not much reason to switch at the moment...

I used firefox, until i used opera. Opera probably isnt as good at in-depth customization, but it definately blows firefox out of the water. Most people use firefox to shun IE, and to say they are a power user, but unless you use the advanced customization, which i find useless, its just another explorer.

I just "use" firefox. I don't care for plug ins or messing with settings. Its fine as is. I just hate chrome because its ugly and you cant do the scroll wheel click.

i hate chrome altough i use it

why, easy, i was using firefox 3.0 until chrome came out saying that it is faster than firefox, so i give a try but i make the mistake OF UNISTALLING FIREFOX, and in fact, it is slower than mozilla and sometimes it crashes without reason and now im too lazy to download firefox again.

I use chrome mostly for 'recreational' surfing. Otherwise I would stick to firefox because of less bugs and such. I can't even type up an email with hotmail on chrome, and some school websites don't work with chrome. Other than that, chrome is a fun browser, its a lot faster than the fox, I love the address bar that also works as a search engine, and generally the user interface is more streamlined that firefox.
