anyway to unlock ati overdrive limit in ccc ?

    Im looking to take the core on my 4850 past 700mhz but stupid overdrive is locked at 700 :( is there a way to unlock this ? i think my core could eaily do another 50mhz+ as my max mem is about 1120 and 700mhz is hamepring my 3dmark06 score :(

    Does gputool unlock overdrive or ?? cause im aware i could use other programs to oc but want to know if i can specifically unlock the overdrive limit

    to unlock the overdrive limit you have to reflash the BIOS on your VGA card GPUtool is a much better option than going thru that

    Thanks cdawall, i just like to use ccc for its ease of use and it saves me opening up another program when i want to tweak to bench or game, but yea i dont think i want to flash my bios so ill check out GpuTool, would you reccomend that over rivatuner ? without being biased towards TPU of course :p

    yes GPUtool is more powerful for actually tuning your GPU clocks than riva is
