Apacer has completed the flash drives testing of the ReadyBoost function of Microsoft Windows Vista. ReadyBoost enhances PC performance by adding memory through any USB 2.0 port. The read and write speeds of Apacer's Handy Steno flash drive series is up to 200X, when used with ReadyBoost, they can improve system performance by up to 50%. With stylish and unique designs, fast read/write speeds, and a wide range of memory capacity available for its flash drives, Apacer is now working with Microsoft in certain countries to promote the breakthrough functionality of ReadyBoost. When several applications running simultaneously in a test platform with 256MB and 512 MB RAM, Apacer flash drive can increase performance by more than 40%. Apacer has tested several products, including flash drives and flash cards, for working with Windows Vista ReadyBoost technology.
