If you own a MacBook Pro and your battery has a serial number earlier than W8608 you should contact Apple to get a replacement. Any batteries with the serial number above W8609 are not affected. The batteries have the following behavior:
-Going from a full charge to 90% capacity and then immediately losing power
    -Losing significant capacity
-The battery meter LED blinks at 1 block or doesn't respond
Apple did not mention how many of these faulty batteries are being used and need to be replaced.
