When iTunes seven was released, Apple stated it was the greatest upgrade to iTunes since it was originally released in 2001. However, apparently the latest iTunes is getting a ton of reports regarding bad code. The complaints have been found in mutliple message board across the internet, and are nothing to be simply dismissed. The problems were as minor as songs skipping during playback, though some reports were as serious as entire songs simply dissapearing. While Apple initially dismissed the reports as "isolated Windows issues", Macintosh users have been reporting the same problems as Windows users. Apple has no comment for the situation. Needless to say, until these problems are resolved, it's probably a good idea to stay away from iTunes seven.

definatly... glitchy sound while playing games or something with high system usage, and some massive ram usage...

Icky for a 24/7 player, fine for a standalone...

Its back to foobar2000 while playing WoW I guess..

i liked itunes 6, not too much of a resource hog.

left itunes open today, got home and it was using something like 150mb ram. which is obscene.
and a bit slow on the rating star system. dunno why.

    love coverflow tho.

yeah it is pretty fun.. auto fetch artwork and dvd backup is a verymuch welcomed addition too!!

but the music store is starting to get rather hoggy, aswell as the coverflow... 150mb for coverflow is way too much... turn coverflow off, and retsrat itunes and itll drop back to its usual sizes... almost....

still, even without a restart, it still bloats. like 80mb on load. itns6 used 30 something when running, about 4mb when minimized (this was with a little help from multiplugin)

oh well, thats what i have 1gb of ram for.

My iTunes doesn't normally detect my iPod anymore... only one in ten times maybe. Haven't had any sound issues yet, defintately a resource hog, brought my PC to a crawl playing San Andreas at the same time for about 30 secs, then went back to being fine. :(

Itunes with cover flow enabled and running on my library..

Do note, this is around 10gb of music, and a lot of album covers... and memory usage changes when you use playlists aswell.. with fewer covers to load..
