so somebody stole it(they say lost but come on:rolleyes:) and let gizmo take pictures of it,

it looks like a little hp slate

I want to know what CPU and GPU it has its almost surely better than the Ipad

it could also have been a prototype of the 3GS but got rejected for another prototype

It's really stolen according to John Gruber (see signature).

The story is more interesting than the device, to me anyway. Saw it on my local news tonight even. As for a planned leak, even without the Gruber info, Apple is so secretive about their upcoming products I can't imagine it being planned.

i doubt it. why release something with only hardware that doesnt work? apple fans done care about this shit, they just want to know how shiny it is and how much it costs. oh and battery life.

I would just like Apple for once to release a product that doesn't have to keep going through revisions and models. Just release a product that has everything dimwits.

Latest news seems to be that an Apple employee (Gary Powell) took the phone with him to an after work birthday party, got drunk drinking German beer, left the phone on the bar stool and stumbled home.

Seem the guy who found it unsuccessfully tried to return it to Apple (no details), and then went to Gizmodo who paid him $5K to let them review and take it apart.

Lesson to be learned : If you can't handle German beer, leave your prototype iPhone at the office.
    Mussels and digibucc say thanks.

The phone looks pretty swell, but I think the Windows Phone from Microsoft looks better. But that's only my opinion.

the guys over at apple apparently had Gizmodo editors house raided by police and they took computers and servers

nice job apple, you got your phone back nicely and still had them raided:nutkick: and it was illegal to do.

i hope gizmodo has a feild day F u apple. they gave you their stuff. They already published the story. Their a big site. i serious,ly doubt he took like tech specs and other super secret info. Know why? Because you could ACTUALLY go after them about that. This though is ridiculous. And if I was in his shoes and it wasnt legal....OOOOOO man would I be suing. and damn right id have the best front door on the block.
