Hi , Just got my Arctic 7970 accelero cooler. but was surprised to see that the two part G1 thermal adhesive to glue the heatsinks on had been replaced by a small of ready mixed paste in a toothpaste type tube.
There was no marking on it, and an added loose note that came with the cooler said the curing time was 1 hour.
I have not seen any reference to this new paste. Has anybody used it ? I was getting worried about the long G1 setting time and any issues of it shorting the components so would appreciate any feedback ( arctic website does not mention it )
