Pretty much summed up right ,up there, ive just bought both (needed something for NB too) but i really am unsure now im set to do it if its worth doing(on the Cpu as the indigo is specific)the indigo so would love some opinions please and maybe you have used it and have a tip or 2??

As far as I understood, do you need recommendation or advice about those 2 Thermal interface materials mentioned ? also you need to apply a little on the Northbridge?

indigo is conductive not a good idea for a north-brid or any-ware else for that matter its useful for ln2/diCE or delidding and thats about it
grab a tube of Artic MX-4 and you will be fine
if You MUST use a gallium based alloy TIM then lquidpro is a much better option

its easier to apply/remove and doesn't require a stupidly complex burn in procedure ...

Agreed, coollaboratory liquid craps are pretty used on delid process, im i will not use it directly to processor IHS or coolers...

First thanks for the replys.

Its onto a copper block ,and i did mean on the cpu, so copper to copper is ok isnt it, ive lapped the cpu and im obviously going for another max clock weekend trying to beat my best, I dont mind stripping indigo back out ,if thats doable but like i said i got arctic silver 5 and a silver ceramic if needed,i will deffinately use the silver 5 on the NB ,(ceramic is shit and used on mates when necessary ,as far as it goes)

grab a tube of Arctic MX4 and repaste your processor, no curing time as Arctic Silver 5 …

You've got the wrong TIM altogether. And it ain't MX-4 either, it's Cool Silver G4...FTW!!!
