1. Scourge CL for used 5870s
If the Mac flashing community is still going strong like it used to be, any GPU that has a high success rate or minimal flashing issues will go for much more than it should. Just cause the flashers buy them up, flash them and then turn around and rape Mac user wallets. Mac users generally being not smart enough to opt for the better GPU from the start generally get caught easily.
Apple pretty much gave the upgrade market the finger and killed it with x86 so there is a lot more homebrew and do it yourselfers. Which is good if the vast majority of Mac users didn't consist of appliance PC people who have no concept of how much Apple quality has dropped. They only care if it works and if its pretty.
You'd need to get a huge deal. You pay two fees and shipping and suddenly you haven't made any money.
Well my eBay listing ended, my Asus 5870 sold for 182.50 and my his flashed to Asus sold for 175. I'm really in shock why they sold like this.
Bitcoin miners that's why
The 5870's were bad ass. But soon they will be coming down because of the 7870 prices so get rid of it quick
Good luck,... ebay prices are inflated because of the 45 day no questions asked warranty you knowingly or unknowingly give you your buyers...
Ebay prices are retarded right now.
As far as 5870s go though, great cards to mine on... the 2gb versions are still solid gamers... But 1gb will really hold you back in modern games.
