Until AdblockPlus exists on IE9, is free, and is still as easy to use and customize, I'll stick with FF.

I have just installed this a few days ago since it finally came as a update, and im shocked to say i dont mind it, i find it very fast and simple lay out for once, but also i see alot of google Chrome in here to.

So all in all IE9 seems to be ok, just dont like how they put the address bar and tabs in the same row??

I installed it yesterday and it's good. Very snappy response. As soon as I'm able to get Ad-Block Plus for it I'm switching. Using Firefox 4 now.

The only time I find myself with IE open is when I need to DL FF on a clean install. Im pretty satisfied with FF and don't see myself switching anytime soon.

Have you only used IE8 and 9 or something? The older IE's didnt work great at all, they sucked the fat one bad, IE6 comes to mind, totally terrible, would break all the time.

IE has only become stable in the past few yrs far as im concerned.

Well, I just did clean install of IE9, Chrome 10, Firefox 4 and Opera 11.10 (Release Candidate 3.1, due to be released next week) and run Peacekeeper in each one, here are the results:
    http://clients.futuremark.com/peacekeeper/results.action?key=5lLS

My Opera 11.01 (latest stable) install has some extensions installed and had 11 tabs open at the time of testing
All other browsers were clean installs with no extensions installed and default settings

PS Of course, speed is not everything, and this is a synthetic benchmark so take it for what it is

You could've at least linked your results :p Check the link you posted :D
And, of course your results should be better, higher clocked CPU + RAID HDDs = win

I tried IE9 and didn't like it, installed Firefox 4.0 and crashes like crazy so it's back to Opera; version 11.01 is fast and smooth and I love the speed dial.

I have no problems with FF4 so far, though there is always a room for improvements..on the topic,IE9 is a waste improvements over the older versions, especially in the terms of speed..I've never really used IE,cos in the early times it really really was slow, been using firefox basically from the beginning (I think 2004?)...now is the first time I wouldnt mind tu use IE,its just that I dont really need to,cos Im happy with FF.I really get used to FF personas feature,I think its really nice that you can make your browser look a little special for your needs..I guess there is no such feature in IE9?Despite its been really improved a huge amount, for me Its UI always looked so blunt..please correct me if Im wrong as I really dont use IE often,so Im not familiar with all its features and add-ons.

The poll option "I'm happy with Firefox/Chrome" should read "I'm happy with Firefox/Chrome/Opera"

I tried IE9 but went back to 8 because half my downloads hung at 1 sec remaining with 9.
