Well, that's it: Tomorrow, I am heading down to either "Circuit City" OR "Best Buy", & taking a 'hands-on peek' @ using VISTA.

:)

* All this talk about it, really DOES have me curious, & screenshots do NOT 'cut the mustard' for me... I have to try it, hands-on, for awhile imo!

I am thinking about getting Vista, but not until I am sure that it's stable and the drivers/games work for it. So I am not running it, but I want it.

I know it's against the forum rules (for some reason), but you dont have to BUY vista.

I've tried vista and am goin to buy it, i mean, i WILL get a DX10 card, so its a foregone conclusion.

What really mattered to me, was that i DID download vista... and ran it as a 30 day trial. I really liked that, as i got to see what worked and what didnt... and at the time, my firewall, antivirus, one chat program (Skype) and motherboard software (DFI fan control tool) did not work.

Now however, those programs have been updated and it should make for a good dual boot setup (spare 40GB ftw!)

Oh yeah - i REALLY want to know how readyboost helps, my 2GB OCZ rally is screaming for attention.

ya, downloading vista (piratedly) then buying it is a gd thing, atleast we're gonna know how's it gonna be. many companies provide trials for that purpose :) But as for OS' and apps we don't get trials, downloading them via pirated is atleast a gd idea to test them ;)
Nice idea :D

Guys, remember, while you can claim you pirated something all you'd like, do NOT describe exactly how you did it in public (I don't read your PM's ;)).

he said he lives in russia so its technically not pirating for him.
