Yeah, well Joker first appeared in Batman comic #1 in 1940, so it can't really be seen as a way to use characters other than him. I wonder if they'll convince Hamill to at least do a cameo scene as Joker. He has been quoted as saying he won't reprise the full role though.

I really hope this one doesn't lose the Batman based theme. IMO the JLA stuff is not all that fitting to a Batman specific story. Worse yet, if they have it so you can play as those other characters like they did Catwoman, it will lose even more of the Batman focus.

Catwoman goes hand in hand with Batman, as does Robin and Batgirl. I feel they'd be better off using and fleshing out those characters than going with a JLA theme. Villain wise they used up too many characters in AC. They should have had fewer, fleshed them out better, and saved some for the next installment.
