Hi,
i have a big problem with last Versions of the ATI Tool(0.0.22-0.024b). First my english is not the best so don´t beat me :D
The Artifactscanning find many Artifacts on stock Clockrates and low/normal Temperatures (e.g. idle: 39/40 °C load: 66/48°C), but i cannot find any abnormal Pixelerror or similar Error in Games or Benchmarks. I ran 3Dmark01/03/05 and nothing...
I had another Problem with the Version 0.0.23. During the Artifaktscanning the Clockrates for GPU and Mem switches permanently between the Clockrates up and down....
I have no idea whats caused this problems. With my R9800Pro Card on my second System the Tool works perfectly. With the Ati-Traytool the Artifactscanning works perfectly...
Hope you can help me....

My System
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
DFI Lanparty UT Nf-4 Ultra-D
Windows XP Prof. + SP2
1024MB Ram
Tul Powercolor Radeon X800XL PCI-Ex (Stock Cooling)

first, use latest 0.24 beta

just to understand you right .. you click "scan for artifacts" (not "find max") and your clock rates keep changing?

does the error detection problem go away when setting the checkmark for the "use old scanning method" ?

Sorry i think i have described this ponit wrong... I used the FindMaxCore-Button and the Clockrate for Mem changes too. The Value goes up and down.

it's completely normal that the other clock frequency changes a little bit
(you can either have small steps and both frequencies change or big step and the other one stays, setting "lock reference divider")
