Asrock 970 pro3 mobo northbridge chipset too hot

Can someone tell me if the screen can go blank when this chipset is very hot, 1.2v for northbridge for example? it was at that voltage when the screen went blank, I have it at 1.1v right now but it still very hot I can't touch it for longer then 2 or 3 seconds and don't know if the screen may go empty again, so I want to ask if adding a fan may improve my performance thanks.

You have to put a fan on it , as I do. I have the same heatsink as that. any small fan will do

I got 1.35 volts running on it. no issues with a 60mm fan

AMD 970 doesn't have onboard video. That board does however have one of the worst mosfet designs in existence so it could just be overtemping.

It needs air flowing over it and the VRM section too.
