Asrock A85X Extreme6 won't boot

    You mean +5VSB right because my PSU doesn't even have a -5VSB
    What PSU did you use because I'm using a Seasonic M12II-620 which according jonnyguru has tighter regulation than my Antec 1200W.

    ok tried both boards with my 1200W PSU and neither of the two boards boots so I'm going with the CPU being toast.

    I had issues and mailed ASRock my Antec 1200W PSU.


    ANd yeah, I dunno WTF is was on about for which rail it was.

    look I'm going with CPU being dead because I tried:
    2 different mobos
    2 different sticks of ram
    2 different PSUs
    1 CPU
    so the only consistency is the CPU but none of the setups booted.

    Yeah, after all that I'd be going down the same road too. It is odd to have a CPU die though, for sure. Hopefully that'll get ya sorted...
