I have the ASRock Extreme X58 motherboard with the i7 960 DO cpu. I have the cpu overclocked to 4.2GHZ and it's been that way for several months. The problem started a couple of weeks ago, I came home from work and the computer screen was frozen (mouse cursor, clock) nothing would move. I rebooted and then everything worked fine for several more days. Now it does it at random like every day or maybe it won't for a couple of days. I've tried switching out memory, switching out video cards, setting cpu back to default and it still does it. I don't have another motherboard to try yet. I might get a different one and see if that fixes it. Thought I would post first and see if anybody else has had this problem before or can tell me what I'm missing. :banghead:

Done that it ran stock for a week and still locked up the computer several times.
