Asus P5Q and G.Skill PC8800 PI compatibility

Hi!

Sorry for my very bad english but I would like to know if Motherboard Asus P5Q (classic) and G.Skill PC8800 PI are compatible.

According to the official of G.Skill, the P5Q does not represent ( http://newgskill.web-bi.net/bbs/view.php?id=g_ddr2&page=1&sn1=&divpage=1&category=55&sn=off&ss=on&sc=on&select_arrange=headnum&desc=asc&no=124 )

According to the test of techpowerUp, it is the P5Q which was used. ( http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/GSkill/F2-8800CL5D-4GBPI/2.html )

You can assure me that these two components will work together

Except for the p45 chipset's picky memory controller. Good luck though, hope it works!

I should know all to well about that, but from what I have seen, G.Skill ram tends to work well with ASUS P45 boards, or at least the G.Skill HZ's fit, Tatty, and I have (only my board has one of those infamous crap memory controllers.
