Asus R290 BIOS versions?

I was having this "black screen " problem with my new Asus R290. I sent it back to RMA , and they sent it back to me , cause they didn't find any problems. Service says , they updated the BIOS.

I checked the BIOS version . It is the same as the one before i sent them.

I wrote the bios to a file using GPU-Z . Hash is different than the latest bios file from techpowerup .But the version is right.

Are there different bios files, even the version is same?

Any explanation to this?

I uploaded all submissions for ASUS R9 290.

If you upload your BIOS through GPU-Z you should get a duplicate message, or maybe it's a really new BIOS and it will accept the download fine.

In that case send me a message so I can put it online.

edit: the hash of your saved file might be different because ASUS stores each card's version number inside the BIOS

ok i uploaded the file, no dublicate message.

Why would there be different bios files with the same version number????
