ok ran 1.5v helped me get to 4.5ghz on the uncore and lowering trfc actually hurts b/w. and running trcd and trp @ 15 is a no no
still toying with getting this kit up to 3200

clocks really aren't that impressive given the voltage
shame
In terms of raw clocking
it seems haswell is just a write off
1.5 for 4.8@125bclk jesus
and nearly 1.4 for a mesesly 4.6
thats not any better then most lga 1150 chips

at 1.5V the chip won't make it a year without degrading
great for seeing how high it will go but if you can't sustain it there is little point
at >1.4 the chips life span is cut in HAF and I would be surprised if it makes it a year without degrading
extended tests are high voltage would be extremely helpful
if you have the tuning protection plan I would say run at 4.8Ghz 24/7 and see how much voltage it takes to get stable and how long the chip holds up

well just was just a couple of hours test run because it was freezing outside no plans to run it full tilt like that for extended periods of time. its sitting comfy at 4.5ghz @1.34v where my 4790k hovered at plus i have 2 more cores so i cant complain:D

4.5@ 1.34v is decent enough. I understand that your other overclocks are just for fun. I will be trying out higher volts when I get my water cooling stuff delivered, just to see how high it will OC (with in my limits, won't be going past 1.4v but thats just me).
At the moment with my H100 I can't go past 1.25v and that leaves me stuck at 4.250ghz, cache 4ghz @1.2v.

If I can get what your getting, 4.5ghz @1.34v then I will be happy.

@OneMoar Your right, Haswel is a complete Ahole in this respect. I have had 3 of them, 4770k, 4790k and 5930k. Not been lucky with any of them, and you have to be lucky. I think Intel must reserve the few good ones for TPU members though, because I see plenty of people here getting good OC, so frustrating. I must have used up all my luck on Sandybridge. My 2600k and 2700k both did 5ghz under 1.3v.

I'm going to assume its a temp issue did you try and see how high it will oc with no load?

almost the same for me my 4770k was stable @4.5 my 4970k was stable @ 4.65-4.7 depending on what i was doing my 5820k was good to 4.6 but i needed my forthslot for my raid card so now as speak its occt stable @ 4.55 cpu ,with 1.4 on the uncore @4.5 room temp

Yeah it's temp issue, My H100 will not keep temps under 85c if I go past 1.250 vcore. So I have settled for 4.25ghz cpu with 1.2250v. When I get water cooling kit next week I will try higher voltage.

Glad you asked. I'm getting the totally awesome super mega freeze, no, not really. I'm going to have to get a cheap and nasty kit for now. Because this is a unplanned purchase and with Christmas round the corner. I will have to buy this
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/alphacool-nexxxos-cool-answer-360-lt-st-kit and then upgrade each part every week. It will be just a bit better than the H100 and will get me overclocking again. First thing I will upgrade is the pump. I already have 3 couger pwm fans so they mite help improve this kit a little.

So in a few weeks I will have a better pump, res, rad, fittings and maybe block.

Can you recommend a pump?

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
Interesting that this bios doesn't use the 125 strap to reach 3200Mhz memory....
