hi guys i m not to happy my old m2n sli deluxe just died now asus will not cover it all because the board does not have a serial number, u all may think how is that so, well to make this story short i rma this exact board 5 times before, the last time i got it back from rma it came back with no serial number in which i though was odd, so now when i called asus 3 weeks ago after talking to some manager they agreed the will still cover it for rma, but i never sent the board out due to being extremely ill, so i finally got around to rma it today, now when i called asus they had no previous case file of that previous event ever happening and told me that they could not cover the board because due to no serial number, i m not to pleased with asus cause i know for a fact the board had no serial number when i got it back from rma, sorry for going on, but i m out a motherboard not cool at all

its partly your fault man.when talking with support make sure you get a case number or a reference number and get a name of the person you talk to. i dont understand how a motherboard wouldnt have a serial number if it came straight from asus but i guess stranger things have happened

Good luck with that. Is there anything that anyone at TPU can do for you in regards to your RMA?

The only thing we can suggest you do is keep contacting Asus and work your way up the managerial chain until you get some sort of satisfaction. Since you didn't save the case number or anything like that your are most likely out of luck. There is no other way we can help you. Ranting threads help no one, and will only bring people to troll and wisecrack until this thread is closed. So, I'm closing this thread. If you need the thread reopened because you need help from the community in this regard, please let me know.
AthlonX2 and (FIH) The Don say thanks.
