    Hello all,

After getting some advise from the great folks here I got a X2 3800 and put in MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum board.

The board has the latest bios. The Max I can overclock the CPU is 260*10 (HT 4). FSB over 260 hangs. Even if I put the HT to 3. The voltage for the CPU is 1.55.

Should I go higher on the voltage? Can this chip go higher?

The memory is at 333 mhz.

    The chip is E4 stepping.

    Help!!!

i have the same chip. i wouldnt bother putting it past 2.6 because after that you will see performance decrease due to heat. if you want to give it a go though you can always lower your memory speed and pump up the voltage. i had mine at 1.5 and it wasnt all that hot.
