8500GT is a little more on par with a 6800xt and then you get the massive IQ enhancements.

Lets lay this to rest now.

The 2400 Pro is approximately equivalent to the x1600 pro and x1300 XT, the 2400 pro is slightly weaker but still somewhat on par. The embarrassing thing is the 2400 Pro is actually slower than the midrange graphics card which are 3/4 years old. The 7600 GT, x1650XT, x800XL, and 8600 GT are all faster than the 2400 Pro. The bottom line is if gaming is your adjenda the 2400 pro isn't the appropriate card.








To be fair the 2400 Pro isn't in the graph but the 2600 Pro is and still looses to the above mentioned cards.

Got it a little sideways..

2400xt = x1600pro/x1300xt *which are the same card*
2400pro = or < 1300pro

anyway the guy who owns this piece of junk has shot trough to melbourne for the week but when he gets back ill run up crysis and tell yall how it goes :toast:

lol according to that chart my hd 2600xtis slower then a 7600 in some cases i dont think so lol

Well that's the reference 450mhz 8500GT. As far as I know a lot of them are sold at 600Mhz. I have one like that in my secondary rig and it can do 700Mhz stable. A 250Mhz overclock out of a really cheap video card is nothing to laugh at. It can play COD4 at 60fps on normal settings and above 70 on low. That's coupled with a P4 and at 1280/960. I think that's decent for what I paid for it...
