It might be, but if the card can't play Crysis at MAX, how do u guys expect it to play DirectX 11 enabled titles? It won't be an happy ending....

entry level directx 11 cards with the purpose of people running out to by multiple monitors.

i dont think its ability to play crysis at max has anything to do with its capability to handle dx11 games

Crysis is like a big frickin' tractor. Sure, it has teh power, but no matter how smooth you make the highway, it's not gonna go fast. Ever.

i wouldnt say never ever.

I remember when DOOM 3 brought cards to its knees like a kick in the dick.. now thats about as useful for benches as teh source engine

Wow, from reading what you guys are typing makes me just wanna get one of the cards just for power consumption/heat. Running my SLI setup get's old fast because of temps and makes it hard to play for extended gaming sessions, so I just wanna try to get temps low along with power consumption.

One part of my brain says... more powah!

The other side just says... "Dude, wtf are you going to play that will use that much power....?"

I've tried both sides and ran 3-way SLI but didn't like it because my middle card always got pwned by temps, 20min gameplay tops before temps is red-zone (hot here). Alll I did it for was to see godly FPS, and it was amazing. Never gamed much, but wanted to, temps always stopped me I guess. WarHead gave me 55avg on a good run,

. But Micro-Studder = fail.... epic fail. It was bad. Crysis could say 80fps and it'll look like 20. Pffffft.

I think I'm 90% now just getting one vs. two like I originally planned. Need to get into PC gaming.

Crysis was just fussy. You can have people moaning that their 2 4850s overclocked in Crossfire and E8400 overclocked to 4.5Ghz still couldn't run Crysis on max or was still really slow.
But fact is, many of us are playing in on a single stock 3870 on max and it's running great.

Crysis really shouldn't be used as a benchmark for how good anything is.

That's the kind of words I was looking for. It's one heck of an inconsistent game.
Doom3 was consistently heavy and bigass, Crysis picks its partners.
