ati tool SOMETIMES not remembering settings

i have my ati tool to clock my fan speed from 5% to 100% on computer start up. Its been doing it for a while then tonite i realized when i was playing oblivion, that it was at 5% again. So basically i want to kno how to keep it there for good. should i create a profile or click load startup settings from registry key or how do i do it?
