Do the mosfets run really cool on this board?

Because that is a horrendously inefficient heatsink.

foxconn make lots of stuff, even IDE cables

I think he is referring to the issue with the foxconn socket melting or something like that under some extreme clocks.

Not so much the extreme clocking melting issues, but the fact that the Foxconn-manufactured sockets don't make proper contact with the cpu contact points. Some other boards have gone to Lotes sockets to correct this.
