I'm running an asus amd 6670... card card works fine except for gpu fan. What made me aware that I have an issue is the fan rpm would go max for about 30 seconds. So I looked at gpu tweak and saw that it was running hot. I also noted the fan was not spinning at all even tho gpu tweak said it was at 60%.
Long story short the fan wont spin unless I have fan speed set above 75%....... and at 75% it wavers like its not getting the proper voltage or something....at 76% it runs steady at 74% it shuts off. I've tested this with speedfan, gpu tweak, afterburner and riva. I can make the fan turn on by setting thresholds or setting it manually but only if I set it above 75%. Anything lower and it doesn't run.
My question is..... is it the fan on the gpu.....or the gpu card itself...or the pcie slot? I only have 1 pcie slot on my mobo and no access to another machine atm. The card otherwise works fine.
