Holy F*@k! Baldur's gate site is up!
Explain yourself please. Google doesn't say anything about a new Baldur's gate game.
This is quoted from Blues News -
So we still know nothing...
Would be nice to get a new baldurs gate with the play style of oblivion/skyrim/fallout3/NV
Probably just an "update" on the old games.
Baldur's Gate with D&D 4th edition rules!
not really, but i did find this
TBH the only baldurs gate games I liked were the PS2 ones, Dark Alliance I and II
If it going to BioWare, which means EA, which means Origin, then no thanks.
If it will use DRM that does not have any on-line requirements, maybe.
Thats probably why he made the post, to discuss the past and look to the future
I reported this a while ago
there is no future with Dragon Age around. Bioware doesn't have the D&D license anymore and the PC market..
Meh, I mean I loved Baldur's Gate I & II and their expansions, but this site is just a picture with BG background music... and it's not Bioware; the original BG development team has yet to be bested in the rpg department. To be a good rpg, there has to be more than just game mechanics and killing stuff, which is all most developers do these days...
it's probably some re-release.
just in case......
I saw a report on Joystiq that someone found something about Baldur's Gate 2 in the Stream registry, probably related and it'll probably be re released soon.
If it's a rerelease... what's the point?
You can get the complete Baldur's Gate series, cheap and DRM free, at GOG.com. Legally.
No logging into Steam to play.
higher resolution, remastered audio, bug fixes, new box art.
Ahhh.... I forgot about that possibility.... BG at 1920x1080 widescreen.... hmmm.
it could also be a XBLA/PSN port.
Went through page source:
Go for the eyes Boo!!!
Too many questions. Not enough answers.
Squeaky Wheel gets the KICK!!
Considering how different the Forgotten Realms is now (with the advance in timeline and all) maybe there IS a chance that it's a proper sequel.
