Interesting. Hope it's new content plus an HD do-over. Would be awesome to play a classic game with new graphics and some extra content. I loved Baldur's Gate back in the day :D

Actually I have read about this in the recent past. It is only a remake of the originals done with a more modern graphics system, supposedly following the originals, and I can't wait. BGII was awesome.

Bumblebee, that legal issue was resolved a few years back.

You know Interplay is slowly coming back as well? I wager they would like to do a DnD game again.

Daggerdale was a major disappointment, nothing but a hack and slash game. At least it was cheap. I expect the same from Neverwinter tbh.

It's actually kind of funny, when they were first making the new Neverwinter it was going to be a bit like an MMO NWN, but then the studiothat was making it got bought by some other studio and now it looks like it's going to be like DDO.

The question for me is: do i wait for the re-vamp or play the originals?

    ^ that.

BGII is replayable, there are different 'prestige quests' depending on the character class of your main character. It's very replayable. Not to mention dual and multi-class replayability options.

I've recently just started playing it again, and I've been blown away at how stupidly, relatively speaking, I played all those years ago.

Exactly, and I can't say I was interested in paying for DDO. I did what I could for free and that was enough.

From that same Giant Bomb article:
I would love to see a new Infinity Engine game.

They actually made a prequel that was never released due to legal issues, it was on the Infinity engine. I wonder if they converted it. It was Black Wolf.

The only search result on google of this 'black wolf' is your post above, and a temple in one of the Icewind Dale games. What exactly are you talking about?

I can't wait for a new D&D PC game, especially since NWN2 punches my video card in the face whenever I try to get it to run.
