I love it and Bastion is on my wish list. I guess I will give the demo a shot. I am loving Cthulhu Saves The World, Breath of Death 7, among others. Good games don't need to come from the big guys. :rockout:

So far so good...

Thumbs up from me! Dont wanna spoil anything but it is definately a breath of fresh air as far as single player action/rpgs go. The score/narration is highly enjoyable. The animation is excellent. Reminds me of the "good ol' days". Worth every penny.

Indie basically means they were not developed (including wholly owned subsidaries) by Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Vivendi Universal, Eidos, THQ, Atari, Sega, Sony, Square, Capcom, Microsoft, or Nintendo (I'm sure I'm missing a few). They found means to finance and create the application themselves.

Warner Brothers published Bastion and it was distributed over the XBOX Live Arcade marketplace not the Indie marketplace.

It's not the publisher that matters, it is the developer. Supergiant Games is considered indie. Indie developers have to go to publishers like Microsoft for Xbox releases and Steam for PC releases. As long as Microsoft/Valve didn't directly fund the development of the game, it is still considered indie.

Steam lists it as Indie on their product page under Genre, I'm assuming it's a nicely polished indie title. But I am curious is if was a funded title...none-the-less if it's fun and feels worth the money, I honestly don't care. I am downloading the demo now.
