Thanks for the heads up, got it last night and downloaded it.

I've made it to the part where commissioner gordon is in a cell with Harley, trying to figure out how to take em all out with being seen.

Combat is simplistic but complex if that makes sense, still trying to figure out how to kill the baddies quickly.

This game makes me want an xbox controller, if anyone knows a good deal give me a yell.

The game's well worth this deal, buy it securebomb, physx regardless.

Bought it mainly for Physx as have played without when I was ATI, nice to play it with for once, and before the whole Physx is useless argument comes out, thats not my sole reason for buying any game, but I will enable it if I can, just cause I can!! :toast:

Physx isn't useless if the game was built to support it as it is needed. But that kind of work can be done on the software end instead of the hardware and allow everyone to use it, thats what the issue is :p

would chug badly if cpu was utilized for those amount of debris and newspapers on the ground. if that kind of work was done in software, they wouldve scaled it down to something like.. well, the render without hardware physix. :D

Amazingly fun game, especially if you like Batman. I've been meaning to play through it again now that I have an nVidia card so I can get the PhysX effects from beginning to end instead of just in the few placed I've tested them.

The level of physic that hardware accelerated PhysX allows could not be done using any widely supported software physic engine.

When PhysX is run in software mode(AKA hardware accelerate PhysX is set to off) you get the same level of physic you would get had they used something like Havok instead. Software PhysX, which is available to everyone, is pretty equal in ability to other software physic solutions. It differs in the ability to offer effects beyond what software physics engines can do to nVidia customers.

I was a bit reluctant before playing this game; I'm not into comics, don't like Batman, don't like third person view, it's not a shooter! However I really enjoy this game, it's that good.
