Hey guys, is there anyway i can change my BF2 serial key without uninstalling?

I have just bought the game and i was using a friends cd-key before, but i dont want to have to uninstall the game because then i would have to re-install the patches which take 1gb of downloads, and my setup is perfect now.

please help, because im clueless,

Try going to "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\Support\" and then double click on Battlefield 2_code.exe

I think you'll need the CD inserted when you enter it, let me know if it works, just something I found on Google.

Yep you change it in the Reg, and make sure you clear the temp files for BF2 in my docs.
