Will update if i find more funny pics, others post as well ...

But i see it more as a protest ... not a boycott , it's not SUCH a big deal as with MW2.

But good, see the hardcore community revolting, that's good, gonna teach EA how to behave.

I actually find those pretty stupid. the comparisons are bogus.

BF3 will not be the first game to have this, the bonus' are not that big of
a deal anyway. I already pre-ordered, don't know if I will get the physical
warfare pack or not - but i also don't care.

anyone that boycotts this game because of that, is doing two things:
1)losing out on an AWESOME experience.
2)failing to support one of the few developers that even give pc
gamers consideration, let alone quality work.

    I get it , I just don't think it's funny.

They're just making fun of pre-order DLC (and foremost RETAILER-SPECIFIC)

This is retarded. Its just a promotion. Like getting a free hat if you pre-order in store back in the NES days. Anyway we all know how PC boycotts work out....

But it does give these jackasses a "moral" reason to steal the game as usual.

DICE has already said these weapons wouldn't give their owners any substantial advantage over other players that did not pre-order, hence, not having these guns.

It has nothing to do with that. People need an excuse to pirate this game because the developer has gone above and beyond what most do to make the PC community happy. So the PC community has to manufacture some stupid ass reason to steal. Fuck it we deserve shitty games.

Crusader, Easy Rhino and 1Kurgan1 say thanks.

this has been going on for a couple years. sometimes they sell all the pre-order bonus content in a DLC shortly after. I don't see the big deal.

    So?
Those that download will not have access to servers and such, so they'll loose on all the fun!
I am willing to pay a pretty penny for this game, but not to pre-order it. Let the game come out, let me see how it is, then I'll pay for it. And I don't need no DLCs...

There is no "big deal". This is just moral justification to pirate.

Being ripped-off before the game is released? I don't think so...as far as I can tell, nobody is playing this game, yet.

Battlefield 3 is getting the retail treatment AAA titles on consoles get. I guess PC Gamers are not used to it...

the weapons will likely have no real impact on gameplay or balance so why all the fuss. pluss if you really want them you'll be able to get them in a dlc a couple months after release like the spectat pack for bc2.

    @TheMailMan78
i read your "Learn how to shoot in FPS!" it was interesting. you mentioned bullets losing power over distance not yet implemented in FPS's. play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat, if you haven't already. i think you'll be pleased with the attention to deatil of ballistics.

It's going to be pirated anyway. But a pirated game won't be able to play online. So I'm guessing no one will pirate to get some extra stuff you can only use in a multiplayer match. no ?

One exclusive weapon that doesn't make a difference in game. However its worth it to pre-order for the extra expansion pack that will be free.

In a Reality, where the real thieves are the producers, a pirate, a robin hood, cant be the bad guy;)

There are Tools that simulate a local network, over their private servers (Tunngle, Hamachi)
And there is a Group named "Teknogods" that create LAN solutions for games which have no working, crackable multiplayer;)

    Shihabyooo says thanks.
