Your trying to hard.

It's "you're" and I am simply making a point. First, I know you purposefully misspelled your. Secondly, BFBC2 was DAY ONE better than BF4 is now. EA is just exploiting the title and laughing all the way to the bank while kids argue over COD vs BF4 nonsense.

If you are crashing CONSTANTLY then its YOUR rig. Not the game.

You sure? I was crashing a lot. Since the patch, not once. Maybe DICE came to my house in the middle of the night and configured my PC properly.

Pretty sure that's what happened.

No first off I really am that bad at spelling. Second BF2 was even worse than BF4 and I won't even go into 2142. I was a beta tester for that one and we couldn't get a full match for the first MONTH of testing. When it was released it was STILL buggy as hell. All BF games are buggy. Always have been. The problem with humanity is their insanely short memories.

Ya know even if I was 100% right you I know would NEVER admit it. NEVER. So excuse me if I take that with a grain of salt.

Right about what? Everyone's PC is at fault? You're not right in the slightest. You're taking the "I have no problems, therefore it must be your PC" stance even though EA/DICE is working on all of these fixes for crashes and whatnot.

As your beloved MJ would say. "You're being ignorant".. may that beautiful man R.I.P.

First off Michael Jordan is still alive. Second I even said BF is not a model of stability. What I've been saying is its not near as bad as the ridiculous reputation its been given by the internet. I have had crashes but not to the level where its "unplayable". ALL BF GAMES IN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS ARE BUGGY! With that being said you and I both know people out there "tweak" their system, download warez and have crappy browsing habits. BF is just the latest scapegoat for their stupidity. EA and DICE ALSO work on improving stability. BF3 was still getting backend patches not but a month ago! If they "didn't care" they wouldn't patch anything. Seriously people need to get some F@#KING perspective.

Not the MJ I was referring to sir. The rest of your statement is absolute bull. I'm sure there are some who fall under this category, but the vast majority do not. Most people let Windows do their updates and make their decisions. These people are having issues with the game and they shouldn't be.
I agree that many games are buggy upon release, especially Battlefield. People are expressing their disappointment en mass due to one thing. It's a AAA game that charges a lot of money to play it. People expect more when they shell out $110 bucks for a game. There are no excuses.

BF2 was a very smooth launch. Same with BFBC2. After the second week most of the bugs were gone. BF3 was a terrible launch. I played it for all of 5 hours and have not touched it since. After the problems with BF3 and DICE's complete inability to write proper code, I don't know why people still spend money on their games. Nobody in here has a right to complain about BF4. You knew exactly what you were getting into.

Are you trying to completely ignore the fact that this issue is on EA/DICE, they know the issue is on them and they are trying to fix it?

They fix issues constantly. Most AAA developers do. Even when the game is 100% stable they still patch and tweak bugs some people have never even seen. That in it self is not proof of a poorly made game. That's just a developer refining its product. THEY ALL DO THIS.

So you do not own BF4?

No of course not. That's why I'm not feeding it.

I have played it at a friend's house on his monster PC. Beautiful graphics, fail gameplay. The game crashed about every 30 minutes. He had all sorts of trouble getting into games. Admin's would kick him if he was doing well. Tons of people were clearly using exploits. It was just awful. I played through the single player and did enjoy it though.

Dude some of us played thousands of hours of FPS games. Its kind of a CODdish fanboy defense you are making right now saying its my porn causing the problems.
Sure it can happen with any game but these amounts of crashes after 2 months and a public beta before says something about dev quality over there.

Rhino is right, that's why I don't whine that much on BF4 like I used to for BF3, I sold my cheap polish ass with this despite past experience.

People with a perfectly stable game don't tend to make noise. People who crash do. Just like people trashed Windows 8 for no reason a few minor crashes in BF4 has now spiraled into a negative cloud of BS excuses from users who don't know WTF they are doing. DICE is just doing PR. Nothing more. I can name a few people on here that have had VERY FEW crashes and have TONS of hours in game. Do they have magical systems?

My rig is stable. I had lots of crashes. Latest patch hits. No crashes. I can't believe you're defending EA when they know the problem is on their end. lol.

You are always free to your opinion though.... Even though you're kinda crazy.

I'm not really defending anyone. I'm just saying the issues are no where near as bad as the internet has made them out to be. If they were EVERYONE would be crashing constantly. But the FACT IS that's not the case. Some people have been VERY stable given this is a DICE game. Myself included.

You should of said that from the get-go.

Understood.

Stability isn't the only concern though. The net code is pretty much screwed. Not sure if that changed at all in the last patch. I do know they got rid of the 1 hit kill glitch.

Well I'm somewhere in the middle though it's really gotta be the game more than anything at this point...I initially assumed/presumed most of the chronic crashers had issues on their end (note: crashing e.g. sound loop or freezes or CTD not disconnects) but now I am a lot less sure. While I do need to try playing with everything on stock for a day or three-as a new board and thus new overclock-the crashing issues especially sound loop followed me first to another rig from main while I waited for the new board, then to the new board plus a clean install of Windows 8.1 and the game and also even to a whole new sound card. Granted though it's a lot less than it was before I changed any hardware. But the first 3 days before they did anything were great for me without any crashes too, but that was not the case for plenty of others as we know.

And somehow I don't remember BF3 being particularly bad at launch. Maybe I'm less observant of bugs and what not but I was able to play it fine when I wanted to.

No....BF2 was also buggy at launch and for awhile afterward.

The net code is pretty much screwed.

It's the internet's fault that netcode doesn't work...if we all had the same speed, same latency internet, I'm sure there'd be no issue, but the fact of the matter is that such is not possible. You and I both know that get 70 players in a lan playing the game, and it'd be near perfect.

The fact that 64 players plus 4 others, plus all the destruction....even works at all...is a major accomplishment.

And even though things aren't perfect, I'm still kicking ass in nearly every match, hackers, crashes, netcode issues, or not.

With finals just two weeks away for me, I've not had any time for anything else at all, really, but once that's done...I got a few months to paly...and I'll be busy playing rather than complaining. :p

Seems a little extreme for DICE to cancel work on other projects and DLC even due to all of the issues with BF4 which at least in my experience the ps3, ps4, and 360 versions seem to be working just fine while the most serious issues are cropping up on PC. Just my 2 cents but stopping work on other projects for what is likely to remain their smallest market (pc) just seems a bit asinine.

They did that for BFBC2 as well. If they stop all projects...that means play testing with all staff...otherwise there simply is no use for the entire team, only so many code, so many do art, etc, etc, etc...

In other words, they are just testing the patches harder. It's not really a big deal, I think.

Game has been a serious joke for the last few days. It's easy to tell when players are using wall hacks. Plus, spawn shot, spawn shot, spawn shot, etc. Spawn, hide in a room, player comes by minute or so later and throws grenade into the room - was not even tagged yet.

I throw nades spontaneously into rooms just to clear out any coward camping in there before I run in............and im not hacking.

Also you are never told that you are spotted by the enemy in game, so you could have been spotted, especially if there was a UAV up above.

It's "you're" and I am simply making a point. First, I know you purposefully misspelled your. Secondly, BFBC2 was DAY ONE better than BF4 is now. EA is just exploiting the title and laughing all the way to the bank while kids argue over COD vs BF4 nonsense.

Or he is just that bad at spelling like he said. He is an Artist, not an English teacher.

Would you like to treat us with some of your own samples of proper code, for a game as complex as BF?
