Yeah I still think BF4 is a bit "too soon" but I would think I'd be pretty sick of BF3 by fall anyway.

Eh by the time it comes out it will have been 2 years, which is about the average for BF games. BC2 is one of the exceptions, it only got 1.5 years then BF3 came out.

Do you mean BC1 and wasn't that just console? It was more like 4-5 years for me between BF2 and BC2. Wasn't it?

No I meant BC2, it came out March 2010, BF3 was Fall/Winter 2011. But yes there was BC1 as well, which would have been the largest non-PC gap, but I counted that.

Side story, BC1 despite not being on PC was actually what got me back into the BF series. I love 1942 (DC mod mostly, played it a ton), played ab it of Vietnam, and played some BF2, but neither Vietnam or BF2 had the magic that 1942 DC had. I wasn't all that interested in 2142 so I skipped that all together. I picked up COD4 when it came out, but disliked that as well, a few friends on console goaded me into getting BC1, even though I barely use my console. And I loved it, the maps, the comedy, the destruction. I was just sad it wasn't on PC, but without that game I don't even know if I would have bought BC2, I might have, but probably not at launch.

BFBC 2 was the one that did it for me after 1942. BF Vietnam sucked and I was never really any good on BF2 unless I was playing
Commander, but once I played BFBC2 I didn't care how bad I was it was just fun as hell. TDM helps on BF3 too, because when I play
Conquest or something where I get my ass totally handed to me I can go to TDM and at least boost back what I lost

Did anyone have their ping increase from the last battelog update?

All mine jumped about 30ms and I don't know if it was a change they made to battlelog or from me losing my dsl connection and them having to set it back up.

Yeah he needs to charge for that weedeating. I mow and weed eat on the side and get $20 an hour under the table. $100 a week tax free. That is exactly how I get my gaming money and computer parts money. Wife can't say shit :laugh:

I did mine for free. It was volunteer work. The only 'pay' I received was good food at the local restaurant. My Gaming funds come after bills are paid and any odd computer jobs I get like virus removal. I wont buy BF4 till I am sold on it's supposed orgasmic qualities.

partially, but also the lack of destruction like in BC2 and the lack of a Bad Company Sequel. Also, the way EA sells DLC before launch etc. Another thing is their lack of fixing of bugs in the current game that gets really annoying.

It's Battlefield you know it is gonna be good. Every game is buggy.
They do a better job in BF then the other games I have had.

I remember preordering BF1943 for PC and like a year later getting a cancellation notice from EA.... MFs :mad:
