Just a quick tip on m82A3 read the zeroing display at the side of the gun before you use your scope .The one in the scope i could not get working ...just remember the centre cross is 100m and it goes 200 300 400 for each one below it .So if the digital display is reading 150 m on the target you want to hit just go in between the centre and the one dot below it.

Well...I'd probably feel differently if I had issues with it but like most I love Battlelog and it just keep getting better IMO. Seeing as how tens of thousands of people are playing you should be able to get the damn thing to work eventually dude.

1) I, me, do not have any issue with BF4!!!!

Hi guys. I hate be an ass but a haven't been through the whole thread because... well... 78 pages, so I apologize if this has been asked. When I play the beta it runs so badly its basically unplayable. I have it on low and yeah it gets 60fps, but frequently dives to 5-10fps usually when I'm in the middle of a gunfight. I tried disabling a card and the performance was exactly the same. I have the latest beta drivers. Anyone else have this problem? Is it just for HD6xxx users? I hope they can fix it because bf3 runs so good it makes me horny.

First are you running the latest drivers released Monday? Messed with the video settings? If it usually happens in a gunfight could also be network/lag-related. Are there local AU servers?

From what I understand, the BETA isnt fully optimized and the graphics have been toned down.

So yeah dont expect much other than a small tease from DICE.

Yep, game is in beta for a reason. Its not to test anything, but server based bugs.

yep, I was on the building, then it started to fall and I instantly died. I want to fall with it, and die in the rubble.

Yeah I certainly have a gripe or three as well, mainly destruction-related (and tanks tho I can't believe that's final and maybe not destruction either; we'll see) but it is definitely fun and I am loving all the little new additions and refinements. Spot ribbons (and a 25 bonus)!

It's because the building has a generic fall. Mostly smoke then rubble, I don't think they built an actual destruction to ride down. Also I found an elevator button in the rubble, Ufgy hit the button then we were teleported to the top of the now destroyed building, then fell to our deaths. So yeah, pretty sure that building has 2 states, there and destroyed, nothing inbetween.

And I agree on the destruction, but this is a city, so big buildings, they won't make them levelable. Lets hope for some country maps with barns and smaller buildings so we can get some BC2 type of destruction going.

Yeah but how about a least Seine-level destruction where you can blow holes in buildings and rain rubble down for kills? Or craters? We will see; it's plausible that too is just dialed down right now but not holding my breath.

Apparently no map on second display yet? Got one hooked up and the game sees it but displays nothing and don't see a related setting.

Decided to check out spectator mode tonite. Stalked Gulley ! If you were on TS or Skype you could really really help the person out you are spectating on. Everyone shows up on the map ! All enemies and allies. The one thing about it though is like watching anyone play, I get ill. Especially when they are looking around fast. They may have to work on that spec mode some. It just seems to be something that will be exploited. If you had 2 accounts you could actually spec yourself and have a huge advantage. We'll see how it pans out. Tell you what though I'm going to use it some and follow my son and a few of the REALLY good players on TPU and learn a few things. Just being honest don't hate me

We went back and tried to record it, found the button, but it was red. Will be trying later. And it's quick, it puts you way up in the air, but you fall extremely fast, faster than leaping off a building. Even after he warned me, I still died from the fall. Also when someone hits the button, everyone in the vicinity goes up. Just go out looking for this button.

Here's some GPU/CPU usage stats while playing BF4 conquest large.

Stock GTX670, 2500k @ 4.5Ghz

All ultra, no AA, medium post AA, 1080p, 100% res scale. Beast game. Couldn't get framerate or frametime to show on graph, I'm guessing for the same reason I couldn't get rivatuner to show stats on screen.

Complaint: DICE needs to add hit markers when in spectator mode. It's impossible to tell what's happening.

Tips:

1) Increasing the hud size percentage also increases the the read out size of the points, kill, and killer feed in the middle bottom. I had seen some people complaining about it being too small and hard to read.

2) L alt is the default key for in game VOIP and only works for squad I think (push and hold to talk). Works great too. Was flying with someone last night and we were tearing stuff up being able to communicate to each other.

Anyone else notice that the rubberbanding gets really bad after the building comes down? Had 1 game where it was up the entire time and little rubberbanding. Next round it comes down almost immediately and rubberbanding the entire game bad.

Also, I love the reactions I'm getting from people now that I can throw down the real ammo box.

I don't think Eyefinity/Surround resolutions are supported real well. I can see under the map on the side monitors when the game is about done loading. Players in my side monitors do not have any tags over them so I have to put them on my center monitor to see if they're friendly or not (not always easy to see who is going in and out of my side monitors in the heat of things).

Ran 2 separate three minute FRAPS runs.

On foot:

In Heli:

11450, 180000, 36, 95, 63.611

That's on 2560x1440 Ultra settings (post AA on Medium)

BF4 Beta

Yeah I tried the beta and really had a hard time with it. Game freezes then shuts down and locks up. Task manager freezes. Key bindings shut the game down. Takes FOREVER to join a server, a right when the game launches it shuts down. BF3 plays flawlessly yet this game plays as though I have a 128 mb gfx. Stuttering, tearing, lagging it just goes on and on. Definitely buggier than Kansas in August. And yes I have the latest gfx (13.9 AMD) Have a 7.5 WEI with a 7.9 GFx rating. Other friends that play have the same issues. Looks like there is a long way to go before this one is worth the trouble.

Yea then there has to be something wrong there cause I was quite surprised how good the 7970 @ GHZ speeds would handle the game but as DICE and AMD mentioned it favors AMD somewhat better.

All FPS was tested through fraps if that means anything

Yeah did the PB standalone too it didn't help. Saw where a fella tweaked his registry file but he gave no directions to find it and see if that was an issue but yeah about half my friends play beta with no problems for the last few days and others such as myself are pulling their hair out trying to get it to play nice. I'll keep trying the windows update route. The rate it's going I may just cancel my pre-order if it is this buggy. A hundred and ten bucks never thought I'd see that day next year they'll probably want two hundred bucks for a game.....
