Still struggling with the damn driver. Microshit keeps dumping this idiotic,"Best driver", Standard VGA Adapter crap.

I uninstall that, it goes back to the Intel Graphics crap. Then try and update in device manager..."best driver is installed"

You installed the Graphics Media Accelerator driver? If you got the right driver, Microsoft should use it over the VGA driver. The Standard VGA Driver is a failsafe fall back should the installed driver fail completely.

Also, Standard VGA Driver is often used in safe mode or virtualized environment.

Thinking I am going to load up 13.12, instead. Open CL in 14.12 is beyond my e8600, methinks. I keep getting an Open CL failure message when I open GPUz.

When I looked into it, I think the version of Open CL is not compatible with my CPU.

Anyway, I did get the Driver loaded, and aside from the Open CL thingy, all is well and good. Except for my sleep schedule, which has been shot to hell messing with this!!

Thanks for trying to help. Turns out I had to dump everything ATI and AMD, run CCleaners Registry x3 and Glarys registry x3, then reboot with the wifi adapter off and install it from my downloads list.

So, now I have a few games downloaded, and Steam installed, I will switch out the Driver, to 13.12, then tear it all down for a fresh Tim application and a fan install, splicing into the sys fan and then it will be game time!! Sunday is tear down day, Tuesday evening, after some running around, will be MY TIME!!

I think to get Open CL running properly you need to install and update .Net framework and possibly the C++ visual

It's good to see those figures are a lot better than the original chip set. :rockout:

This Sunday, after some maintenance, new Tim, all around, a new fan and such, I will start to slowly up the clocks while Folding. But Tuesday, my next full day off, after a few errands, is Game time!! I have been stuck, my whole computer life, with Indie and Flash games!

Tuesday, I begin life with a Real, if somewhat dated, GPU!!

I've got four of my Steam games locked and loaded for first runs!!

Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition,
Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition,
Special Ops: The Line,
and
Tomb Raider.

I am totally excited about this! I don't know where to start!! I have been staring at these games in my Library for, what seems like, forever!! :laugh:

I foresee a new, unproductive, beginning to my freetime!! I hope I don't forget to eat!! (or sleep!) :toast:

Sleep is highly overrated. Coffee!
Tomb Raider is probably one of the more visually stunning titles and it should still run well, assuming you have the card I think you have.
