BenQ will soon be rolling out a new business-oriented widescreen monitor, a model called BL2700HT that makes use of an AMVA+ panel. The upcoming display features a flicker-free backlight, a Low Blue Light mode (reduces blue light exposure) and has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 178/178 degree viewing angles, a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, and a 4 ms (GtG) response time.

The BL2700HT also has slim bezels to and offers dual 1 W speakers, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI 1.4 connectivity, plus a stand enabling swivel, tilt, pivot and height adjustment. No word yet on pricing.

Unfortunately, the only 1440p panel (of this type) is 32''.

With the move to AHVA (more IPS-like) I doubt we see a 27'', although anything's possible.
