its not unusual, i've seen in places Intel refusing to warranty imported cpu's
this makes me scared to import stuff back from Hong Kong now hardware is so much cheaper there
Freedom i did try that stunt and galaxy flat out refused,i was seething and it was made compounded by the fact these guys are so far away you cant drive up and have a polite word in their ear.
The worst thing was i only had old games at the time and had never used something so up to date for graphics so i didnt even bother overclocking it or anything.
I am sure it is just Galaxy and not all manufacturers that would consider an act like that as legitimate though.
I have a XFX HD 5870 1 GB lying around (HD-587A-ZN / HD-587A-ZNEA v1.2) .... what should the price be?
i'll start the bidding at £10...
My 6950 2gb from powercolor is 2weeks old bought from ebuyer is cost about 200+. Due to need some money to apply our extension visa as well as citizenship in the future. May be i sell less than 200£. With artic xtreme cooler.
and how long do you plan to stay in the UK?
Well, i love this country and we dunno how long we stay in uk mr immigration.. Maybe for good sir.
WHAT!!!!!!!!????? England is a big steaming dog turd of a country. Where do you come from originally?
What a stupid site name..definitely I would be careful.
It's europes developing country.
The site's been around since 2000 according to the FAQ btw so it should be legit. Bad ones usually goes down before long.
Phillippines Island mate..
if you still searching, bought a XFX 6950 2gb from overclockers.co.uk last saterday for £139.00... have a look the special might still be on
EDIT: its £196.79 now... bummer
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5850 Extreme 1024MB GDDR5 on ocuk for £107
Pixmania have the same card for £98 +8.80P&P = £106.80.
Its £117+P&P after you add it to basket on OCuK
even though you still need to pay P&P -- I tend to add the P&P to the total value of the card itself instead of being a separate cost.
Sapphire HD 5850 XTREME 1GB GDDR5 DVI HDMI Display...
£104 on ebuyer free super saver delivery nice bloody price on these 5850's, £100 would buy you a 5770 not so long ago, and this is nearly 2x better
Anyone find a 5850 lower than £104 delivered then? come on you bargain hunters.
woah!, i want that, a lot.
I think these Xtreme cards are going to sell by the bukket loads, it packs so much more power over a 6850 & for cheaper then a 6850 too!! what more can you as for?
Gtx 460 hands down.
not when you can have a 5850 Xtreme for under £100.
they are good cards. but they overclock quite badly due to the corners cut to save money.
Still an amazing buy though
